Shawn Roach, PT
Shawn played football and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Baker University in 1987. He then graduated from the University of Kansas in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Shawn has worked as a physical therapist in Warrensburg since 1992 and opened CPR in 2004. He has almost 30 years of clinical experience and enjoys taking on the "challenging" cases that have failed conservative treatment elsewhere.
Shawn enjoys cycling, fishing, and playing with his granddaughter in his spare time. He resides in Warrensburg with his wife, Sandy, and enjoyed raising his children here.
Haley Burnside, DPT, OCS
Haley played basketball at William Jewell College and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2010. She continued her education at Southwest Baptist University and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. She immediately joined the CPR team and has always strived to advance her clinical knowledge and skills through several continuing education courses and Shawn's mentorship. In 2017, Haley earned one of the highest designations in the physical therapy profession when she became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist.As of May 2020, Haley is part owner of CPR.
Haley grew up in Leeton and takes pride in being a "local", although she now resides in Lee's Summit with her husband and three children. She is a huge sports fan and enjoys going to sporting events, especially Chiefs and Royals games.
Thomas Ronck, DPT
Thomas is originally from Wichita where he played football and wrestled in high school. He earned his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2011. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Mary's in 2016. Thomas started assisting our team in July 2016 to cover Haley's maternity leave. He liked our patients and our clinic so much he decided to stay and become an official member of the CPR family. Since then, Thomas has become certified in Blood Flow Restriction therapy, which has provided our patients with excellent clinical outcomes.
In his free time, Thomas enjoys playing disc golf, flag football, and walking his dog. His wife, Erin, is also a physical therapist and specializes in treating neurological conditions.
Chris Lichte, DPT
Chris is originally from Warrensburg where he ran cross country and track in high school. He then attended UCM where he ran on the Mule's track team for two years and enjoyed tutoring chemistry and physics. He graduated from UCM in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. After graduating from UCM, he spent a year working here at CPR as a PT tech and receptionist. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Mary in 2020. Similar to Thomas, Chris enjoyed working at CPR so much that he couldn't resist coming back as a physical therapist. Chris is happy to have the opportunity to serve his hometown, and he has a special interest in treating vestibular, balance, and concussion disorders.
Chris likes to play disc golf, hike Colorado fourteeners when he can, and cook food.
